Moreton Bay Promotes Infill Development in Key Development Areas
On 1 July 2017, Moreton Bay Regional Council introduced the ‘Incentivising Infill Development Policy’. The policy aims to stimulate infill development within the Caboolture and Strathpine Centres, as well as along the Redcliffe Peninsula Rail Corridor.
The Infill Development Policy will waive 100% of Council Application Fees and Infrastructure Charges, for a number of residential land uses, where meeting specific density criteria and where the works are substantially commenced before 31 December 2019.
Unitywater is also matching the offer of Moreton Bay Regional Council, with Unitywater offering a reduction in Infrastructure Charges between 50% – 100%.
The incentive program will run over a two year period and will be capped at $10 million for both Unitywater and Council.
Should you require any information about the applicability of the incentives please contact Cameron Adams or Michael Lyell at our office.
