Deebing Heights Early Learning Centre

A Child Care Centre to accommodate up to 112 children, ranging from 0 - 36+ months. Twenty one (21) full-time staff will be required to operate the Child Care Centre. At ground level, there are six (6) separate activity areas, with ancillary facilities (e.g. storage, laundry, bathrooms, kitchen etc and proposed for the upper level - a training area and ancillary kitchenette, bathroom and office.

Wimmers Soft Drink Factory

This site was previously operated by Cooroy Brickworks and as a result, the site contained remnants of this land use, including a chimney stack, buildings, storage areas and structures. A new Soft Drink Factory was proposed to be established within this existing building. The previous Wimmers factory operated from Garnet St, Cooroy and provided employment opportunities for approximately 20 people and generated at approximately 2,000 litres of product per day. The proposed relocation provided the opportunity to increase the on-site storage and administration areas for Wimmers.

This development involved the establishment of a new Gregson & Weight funeral parlour on a uniquely positioned and characterised site in the northern extent of Buderim. The new facility was to be located in the existing cleared portion of challenging, highly constrained site and comprised a total land area of 2.18 hectares. Our client was committed to achieving ‘best practice’ building initiatives, including minimising energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. The proposed buildings were all designed, located and orientated to provide responsive, sustainable design principles, with the end result speaking for itself.

This proposed Child Care Centre is set to accommodate over 100 children and a approximately 19 full time staff. The proposal also includes an ancillary, street-front cafe that will be open to the public. Located within an established urban area in North Rockhampton, the proposed development will provide a positive contribution to the  visual interest and streetscape character, whilst responding to an increasing demand for child care facilities in the area.  This development application was lodged and approved in a 3month period by Rockhampton Regional Council.

The proposal provided a mix of 2 and 3 bedroom dwelling units over nine (9) levels as well as a 40m² Food & Drink Outlet (Cafe), to provide additional permanent residential accommodation in close proximity to the Rockhampton CBD.

Westside Private Hospital, Taringa

Located on 3,000sqm of land, construction of this significant mixed use development provides a seamless integration with Taringa Railway Station. The proposed development will provide space for various medical uses with access to Brisbane’s highest coverage of privately insured patients and rapidly growing western corridor.  The development comprises 12 storeys in total, with 4 basement carparks.  The approved development includes a hospital, health care services, office, food & drink outlet (cafe) , short-term accommodation (motel), shop, child care centre and 6 dwelling units on the top two floors.  It’s elevated positioning on the crest of Taringa, ensures that all floors have a city view.
