Recognising a clear and moderate-to-strong economic and community demand, this development is set to deliver a valuable local service, benefiting residents and businesses alike.

Designed to reflect the the village character of Buderim and nearby commercial uses on the same streetscape,  the 2-storey building offers a contemporary design. The high-quality architecture is surrounded by flowering trees and integrated landscaping, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and softening the undercroft car park area, providing a serene environment for visitors and neighouring residents.

With 288m² gross floor area, the facility exceeds landscaping requirements, ensuring a balance between modern use and natural surroundings. With 14 dedicated car parks, this clinic offers convenience and accessibility for both patients and staff.

Securing development approval for a Health Care Service in a Low Density Residential Zone is noteworthy, given the typical restrictions. The approval highlights the project’s careful planning and community benefit, supported by a peer-reviewed Economic Need Assessment. This assessment confirmed the need and demand for the development, noting the limited number of alternative, appropriately zoned sites. Additionally, it found that the proposed development would not adversely impact the centers’ network or hierarchy and would result in a net improvement to community well-being.

ADAMS + SPARKES provided initial pre-purchase advice as part of site acquisition of this prime site before coordinating the impact assessable development approval process through Council. Approval was achieved in March 2025.
