This development involved the establishment of a new Gregson & Weight funeral parlour on a uniquely positioned and characterised site in the northern extent of Buderim. The new facility was to be located in the existing cleared portion of challenging, highly constrained site and comprised a total land area of 2.18 hectares. Our client was committed to achieving ‘best practice’ building initiatives, including minimising energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. The proposed buildings were all designed, located and orientated to provide responsive, sustainable design principles, with the end result speaking for itself. The proposed development was approved by Council in 2013, with construction completed in 2016.
