Dwelling House exceeding Height

The proposal sought to establish a dwelling house that exceeded the recommended height limit of 8.5 metres for the suburb, in which many houses had been the subject of redevelopment/refurbishment resulting in many 3 storey houses in close proximity to the site. The proposed development was in keeping with the character of the surrounding houses and had minimal impact on the amenity of the existing detached dwellings.
